About Veredictor
Last updated April 2026
Veredictor is an independent reference to the global automotive market. We publish deep-dive segment guides, ranked lists, and decision frameworks for buyers in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia — the four English-speaking markets with the most overlapping vehicle catalogues and the most parallel buying questions.
What we publish
Fifteen core reference pages cover every major segment (SUVs, sedans, EVs, pickups, hybrids), every major buyer question (range, efficiency, safety, price, volume), and every major decision (powertrain choice, buying process, charging, ownership cost, finance vs lease). Each page is researched independently and updated as prices, specifications, and policies shift through the year.
How we work
Every price on Veredictor is a real starting MSRP from a manufacturer source, cross-checked against Edmunds, Kelley Blue Book, Car and Driver, MotorTrend, Top Gear, and Drive.com.au. Safety references use IIHS, NHTSA, Euro NCAP, and ANCAP. Sales data cites Focus2Move, SMMT, ACEA, Cox Automotive, FCAI, CADA, CPCA, and the IEA Global EV Outlook. When numbers conflict, we reconcile publicly and note the discrepancy.
What we won't do
We don't accept pay-for-placement in editorial coverage. We don't write "sponsored reviews." We don't copy press releases and call them reviews. And we don't pretend every car is a great car — segment guides always name losers alongside winners where the data supports it.
Advertising
The site is supported by display advertising served through Google Ad Manager and programmatic partners. Ad slots are rendered as clearly delineated units; they never appear inside the article body disguised as editorial. Commercial relationships — including affiliate links, which may appear on some pages — are disclosed where they would be material to a buyer's decision.
Editorial standards
Corrections are published openly. If we've misreported a price, spec, or availability, let us know and we'll update the article and note the change.
